Here is an outline of data collected by this website – http://therealmaltatours.com.
What personal information do we collect from people that visit our website and why?
Name or username, email address, IP address and website URL. We also collect non-identifiable data such as browser information in order for me to see my website statistics. We use your data to run my site efficiently and to personalize the user experience.
How do I protect your information?
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of people who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters or submits their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
These cookies and the information they collect help improve this site for yourself and future visitors by monitoring the traffic of users and success of particular content. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings.
Embedded content from other websites
This site uses Google Analytics to collect information such as details of traffic and visitor behavior patterns. We also occasionally check our stats on Hotjar. You can opt out by using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Website back up
We back up our website regularly including all comments and personal data attached.
Do we share data?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties unless required to do so by law or for giveaways where we collaborate with a brand. An example of this is choosing a winner and me needing to pass on the winner information to the brand in order for you to claim your prize. By entering any giveaway or entering such information, you are agreeing to the terms therefore if you aren’t happy with this don’t enter giveaways. If a giveaway collaborates with a brand we will clearly state this.
How long do we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on my website (if any) the personal information you provide is in your user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at all times except usernames.
We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
We collect information about you during the checkout process in our store. Read the Woo commerce policy https://woocommerce.com/privacy-policy/
